Hair elumination. Pros and cons of a salon procedure

Find me at least one girl who would not like to have beautiful, shiny and healthy hair, this is what hair elumination promises to us. This procedure must be carried out in the salon, in a qualified master with high-quality raw materials, if you want to get the desired shade and improve your hair.

Hair elumination

What is hair elumination?

Translated from Latin Lumen - means "light", so it is not surprising that this procedure gives a rich color and shine to the hair. The procedure improves the ability of the hair to reflect light beams.

Hair elumination is a rather expensive procedure, its essence lies in dyeing the hair without destroying the structure, and there is even more to it, in addition, this procedure heals the hair and protects it from the harmful effects of the environment.

Hair lamination is somewhat similar to hair lamination procedure. It is also called a future alternative to conventional coloring, why? First of all, because it is a safe dyeing without the use of hydrogen peroxide, it is a kind of revolution in dyeing technology. After all, hair dye, after shampoo, is the most bought product in the lists of hair products.

Elumination gives a very rich shine to the hair, it does not damage the hair at all, but on the contrary improves the hair structure, when eluting due to the acidic environment, the keratin layer of the hair (hair base) is compacted.

There are two types of elumination: colorless and colored with a coloring effect. If you choose color elution, then the color will certainly be juicy and bright, and if it is colorless, then the hair will immediately acquire a rich natural color, even with some overflow of colors, that is, your native hair color will become more saturated. The procedure also has a cumulative effect, each time the hair will improve and the effect will be visible longer.

When hair is eluted, negatively charged acidic dye molecules penetrate deeply into the hair, which has a positive charge, without damaging the protective layer of the hair, and fill all the pores and voids.

Stages of hair elimination

As we already said, it is better to turn to an experienced craftsman and get the desired effect than to be a “guinea pig” with an unpredictable end result.

Elumination has the same effect as a permanent permanent dye, but at the same time has a mild effect on the hair like a toning shampoo.

Stage 1. The master examines the outgoing hair color and their condition. He selects the desired color or mixes it on the palette and it is very important that the resulting shade will fully match the color on the hair.

Stage 2. Hair is thoroughly washed with a special deep cleansing shampoo to rinse out silicones, styling residues and excess sebum.

Stage 3. A special lotion is applied to the hair, which smoothes each strand, so that the paint will apply evenly and the color will not be too bright. The hair is completely dry.

Stage 4. Then the paint itself is applied and evenly distributed over the hair. The average dye holding time on the hair is about 30-40 minutes.

Stage 5. After the lapse of time, the hair is thoroughly washed off with warm water (so that the water is transparent) and a special shampoo.

Stage 6. Then the hair is dried a little with a towel and a stabilizer of resistance and color is applied (for 5 minutes), and then you need to rinse thoroughly with water.

Stage 7. A special restorative agent (from the same series) is applied to the dried hair and the hair is styled.

Despite the fact that we got 7 stages, in fact, the hair elumination procedure takes 1-1.5, depending on the length and thickness of the hair, as well as on the experience of the master.

There is a special series of products for home hair care after the elumination procedure.
